I am a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist who has worked extensively with people experiencing depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, and difficult life transitions. I also have expertise working with couples on relationship issues, and have particular clinical interest in working with men, women, couples and parent/infant dyads during the perinatal period.
I have worked in public health and private sector settings. My usual approach draws from a range of therapeutic approaches that are individualised to each client’s particular needs. My clinical style draws from short and medium-term evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other Mindfulness-based techniques. I also draw from systems and attachment theory to enhance relationships.
