It is my privilege to engage and meet clients where they are situated in terms of mental health and wellbeing, personal and professional life and decision making, and assist them to reach their goals. I value and appreciate working with clients who have a range of everyday concerns, such as self-esteem, motivation, workplace and family relationships, self-improvement, such as building assertiveness and confidence. My training and experience have equipped me well to serve and support people with mental illnesses requiring support with a GP Mental Health Plan or simply seeking to explore their mental health status. Many of my clients present with depression or anxiety and may have relationship and work issues as well. I adopt an integrated holistic approach to uncovering and addressing their concerns collaboratively, uniquely and individually.
My main areas of work are around negotiating ways through the bumps, roadblocks or crossroads in life, including relationship difficulties (with self, a partner, family member, colleagues or employer). Clients sometimes present with health difficulties such as physical problems, worry about their appearance and pain. You may have had trauma or loss in your life, then I work with you to find ways to accept and grow and develop your strengths to cope and transition your life to include more of what you prefer.
