If you have a Mental Health Care Plan referral to see me from your GP, Medicare will subsidise up to 10 sessions per calendar year with an amount starting from $96.65.

You will receive the lower rebate until you reach your Medicare Safety Net. For more information on the Safety Net click here.

Reduced fees:

In some circumstances I offer a reduced fee to clients who are experiencing ongoing financial difficulties. Please initially discuss this with our intake team before you make an appointment, and you will be advised if this is possible. Unless an arrangement is made with me for a reduced fee, you are responsible for paying the standard consultation fee on the day of the appointment.

Diagnostic Assessments and Report:

Fees vary, if you require an assessment of this nature, I ask you to first make an initial 50 minute appointment to see me and we will discuss your requirements in this consultation.

Non Attended Session Fees:

I require 2 full working days (Monday-Friday only) notice should you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. You must do this by telephone.

– If you give us 2 or more business days’ notice: no fee

– Less than 2 business days: full consultation fee

Out of courtesy to our professional relationship, I request that you provide at least 7 days notice to cancel an appointment as I have limited appointments available.

Hello, my name is Megan McCabe

I work with adult clients who are seeking to enhance their well-being, build a greater understanding of themselves, and addressing symptoms of mental illness. It is important for me to see each client in an holistic way, as well as an individual in order to find tailored solutions. I have a client-centred approach which is warm, empathic and non-judgmental as well as authentic.

I seek to work collaboratively on your therapeutic goals and connect you with what feels meaningful in your life. We may work on particular strategies to assist you with particular issues or delve into new methods of coping or relating.

I have a background in working with trauma in a variety of settings including family violence, victims of crime and crisis intervention. I have also worked in workplace settings, educational settings and community mental health. In my therapeutic work I draw from a variety of evidence based modalities. I work with a variety of issues such as:

• Trauma
