Reduced fees:

In some circumstances I may offer a reduced fee to clients who are experiencing ongoing financial difficulties. Unless an arrangement is made with me for a reduced fee, you are responsible for paying the standard consultation fee on the day of the appointment.

Diagnostic Assessments and Report:

I require 2 full working days (Monday-Friday only) notice should you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment. You must do this by telephone.

– If you give us 2 or more business days’ notice: no fee

Hello, my name is Tony Nguyen

We all fall on hard times. Darkness is a part of the human condition, and heartbreak often strikes when we least expect it. The counterbalance is a deep human connection – a helping hand or guiding light. The first step to getting that help is often the hardest, and finding the right person is important. That help can be all the difference, and it’s one of the reasons why I became a psychologist.

I view therapy as a safe and collaborative space where we work together towards some shared objectives. For some, this means learning and devising strategies to address various mental health challenges. For others, it’s a journey of self-discovery, uncovering truths, or forging new paths. Within a non-judgmental space, the typical therapeutic process that unfolds is one where use my training and experience to:

(1) Help you connect the dots between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours

(2) Offer you a different perspective or mirror upon which to reflect

(3) Provide you with the tools needed to break through your barriers

(4) Advocate for the best version of you
