Young people (aged 10-25) are juggling pressures from many competing parts of life and often need assistance with how to navigate these concerns. Having an external source of support can be useful for them to communicate about topics that are difficult to express to family members, teachers, and friends.
About three quarters of all mental health problems emerge before the age of 25 and youths are at greater risk for suicide risk, self-harm, anxiety and depression. These years are essential for early intervention and addressing mental health concerns via youth counselling. It is vital that youths are provided with the supportive environment, understanding and tools to not only address mental concerns but encourage mental health.
At VCPS we offer young people tailored support in a warm, judgement free space in which they will engage with an experienced practitioner. It’s important that young people are provided a validating and affirming presence to meet their emotional concerns. Psychoeducation and interventions can help support emotional regulation, effective thinking and coping skills, and longer term life skills.

Workplace wellness Melbourne
Workplace wellbeing promotes supporting the wellness of individuals in the workplace. This involves supporting mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. It is integral for organisations to support their employees’ wellbeing as a practice and for prevention; not just when stress has become overwhelming, or an issue arises. Workplace wellbeing supports employees to manage their health and wellbeing so that they are better equipped to cope with the challenges arising in the workplace. This supports longevity of staff and job satisfaction as well as business outputs. People are the greatest asset to a business and their wellbeing is paramount.
VCPS provides workplace wellbeing programs for businesses to support employees reduce mental and physical stress in the long term rather than providing a one-off Band-Aid solution.
