I work with with adolescents (16+) and adults who may be experiencing trauma and loss, depression, anxiety, a life crisis, self esteem concerns and other kinds of emotional difficulties.
My main areas of expertise are around treating people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as working with survivors of torture and trauma.
My therapeutic style involves a person-centered, holistic approach that addresses the psychological, physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions of a person’s life. I employ a range of therapeutic techniques including: Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and other mindfulness-based techniques, Solution Focused therapy and other strengths based approaches, Narrative therapy and a Family Systems approaches and Creative/ Arts based techniques. The techniques are designed to support your capacity to thrive, to move beyond current blocks you may be experiencing and empower you to sustain long-term well-being.
