The VCPS Allied Health Provider Network is a national network of practitioners that delivers services in over 200 locations around Australia.
The practitioners in our network receive referrals from a variety of partnerships and programs that have been established with VCPS, including those with:
- Primary Health Care Networks (PHNs),
- Private Health Insurance,
- Federal government programs,
- Universities,
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAP),
- Telehealth solutions, and
- Private paying VCPS clients
The psychologists in our national network are recruited, trained, supported and managed by our Allied Health Provider Network team.
VCPS manages the credentialing and training of the practitioner workforce, and oversees all compliance to our program partners’ individual requirements, including administration, reporting, IT compliance and security, clinical competencies, and performance against key program indicators. Each of our partners require a unique solution in terms of program deliverables, referral mechanisms, workflow, authorisations at various stages of service delivery and clinical interventions. VCPS can offer tailored solutions in each of these areas.
If you register as a practitioner in our network you can receive a high volume of quality referrals within the location(s) that you generally practice from. VCPS has also developed a secure, electronic calendar system to track enquiries, practitioner schedules, appointments, training and reporting. Practitioners can allocate a number of available appointments on their online calendar, and appointments can be booked into practitioners’ calendars directly via an online booking portal. This removes the need for our administrative teams to liaise back and forward between the client and the practitioner to negotiate an appointment time.
